HOW TO GET TO THE COURSES
AU FORNET
Races concerned: High trail Vanoise, Trail 5 Cols, Les Balcons
- On foot: Through the meadows towards Le Fornet. About 40 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
- By bike: Follow the “ValPesto” green trail or take the road towards Le Fornet. About 20 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
- By bus: With the free “Bus Rouge” shuttle bus to Le Fornet. Departures every 25 minutes from 08:00 to 23:00. More information about the shuttle buses here.
- By car: Follow the D902 towards Col de l’Iseran. About 10 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
ON LE COL DE L'ISERAN
Races concerned: High trail Vanoise, Trail 5 Cols
- By bus: Free shuttles between Val d’Isère and the Col de l’Iseran will be organized by the organization on Saturday, July 11. Departure takes place in front of the restaurant“Les Fils à Maman” right next to the start village.
- By bike: Follow the D902 towards the Col de l’Iseran. Approx. 16km and 1000 d+ from the Club des Sports de Val d’Isère.
- By car: Follow the D902 towards Col de l’Iseran. About 30 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
- Please note: Places are limited at the summit, and the road can be congested due to the crowds, so it’s best to carpool, take the bus or travel by bike.
AT LAC DE L'OUILETTE
Races concerned: High trail Vanoise, Trail 5 Cols, Les Balcons
- By gondola: The Solaise gondola is free for all pedestrians and takes you directly to the top of Solaise. Then it’s a 5-minute walk to Lac de l’Ouilette.
- By car/bike: Follow the D902 towards the Col de l’Iseran for 12 km, then take the carriage road on the right at the hairpin bend towards the refuge de Solaise.
IN BONNEVAL-SUR-ARC
Races concerned: High trail Vanoise
- By car: Follow the D902 towards Bonneval-sur-Arc. Approximately 50 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
IN THE MANCHET VALLEY
Races concerned: Les Balcons, La petite Vanoise charity race
- On foot: Through the meadows towards Le Manchet. About 50 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
- By bus: With the free “Bus Jaune” shuttle bus to Le Manchet. Departures every 30 minutes from 08:15 to 19:15. More information about the shuttle buses here.
- By car: Follow the road towards Le Manchet. About 10 minutes from the Val d’Isère Sports Club.
