Calling all experienced trail runners! The High Trail Vanoise is 67 km long with 4,100 m of elevation gain. With 80% single track, this route will take you across majestic mountain passes, national parks and nature reserves, immersing you in the heart of nature. 🌿On the agenda: the GR5 trail, panoramic views of the highest peaks in the Alps and a passage through the most beautiful villages of Haute Tarentaise and Maurienne🏃

Information to follow depending on the number of participants.

1st refreshement station (full): Le Fornet – 16 km, 1,375 m elevation gain

2nd refreshement station (full): Restaurant La Cascade – 23.5 km, 2250 d+.

3rd refreshement station (liquid): Pont de l’Oulietta – 28 km, 2430 d+.

Water source: Thuiliere (La Duis) – 42 km, 2950 d+.

4th refreshement station (full): Bonneval-sur-Arc – 48.5 km, 2950 d+ climb

5th refreshement station (full) : Restaurant la Cascade – 56.5 km, 3892 d+ (approx.)

The time barriers have been calculated to give you the best possible chance of finishing the race, and have been pushed back as far as possible. No runner will be allowed to continue the race beyond these precise times (zero tolerance) for obvious reasons of safety, organization and to be able to finish within the 3:30 p.m. deadline. The organization therefore advises you to manage your race with a certain margin in relation to these barriers to finish in good conditions.

Caution: mountaineering crampons strictly forbidden! Recommended equipment depends greatly on the weather forecast for the race, so be sure to adapt!  EXAMPLE: “Trail running crampons” type Yaktrack or equivalent with spikes.
